pyO3F

PyO3F is a python framework that supports the implementation of optimization models and methods to fire-related decision problems.

It includes modules related to the characterization of the landscape (in different resolutions), the characterization of the available firefighting resources, their structures (e.g. roads), fire behavior (e.g. Rothermel's model), fire spread, fire scenarios (defined by fuels and winds), and functions to interface with raster and shape files.

Examples of the pyO3F interface

One view of the prescriptions, fire breaks and critical fire paths of a solution of a forest management problem
